Applied planning work supporting implementation of the Residual Designation Authority permit program in Boston.
Overview
The studio worked with Boston's Department of Green Infrastructure to examine how regulatory mandates can be translated into practical, equitable, and scalable solutions for managing stormwater runoff from large impervious properties.
Students produced inventories, typologies, pilot site analyses, green infrastructure catalogs, and implementation strategies to support municipal planning practice.
